Rain delays play between Bangladesh, South Africa in Chittagong

Heavy rain prevents play from starting on day four of the first Test between Bangladesh and South Africa in Chittagong.

The fourth day of the first Test between Bangladesh and South Africa has been delayed due to heavy rain.

The poor weather in Chittagong has meant that the morning session has been washed out, with the players not even travelling to the ground yet.

South Africa ended the third day on 61-0, moving to within 17 runs of Bangladesh courtesy of Stiaan van Zyl and Dean Elgar's unbeaten partnership.

The hosts had opened up a first-innings lead of 78 when they were bowled out for 326 earlier in the day.

The umpires have not yet reached a decision on whether play will take place today.
