Australia have defeated New Zealand by three wickets in the third Test at Adelaide to clinch a 2-0 series win.
The Kiwis began the day on the back foot on 116-5, and were only able to establish a lead of 186 runs to defend and avoid defeat to Steve Smith's men as Josh Hazlewood took six wickets.
Strikes from Trent Boult and Doug Bracewell to remove David Warner (35) and Smith (14) gave Brendon McCullum's side hope of securing a stunning win.
Adam Voges (28) and Mitchell Marsh (28) fell in the final session to put pressure on the Aussies as Boult and Mitchell Santner struck.
Shaun Marsh scored 49 to guide the Baggy Greens to within striking distance, but he and Peter Nevill were dismissed by Boult, who claimed a five-wicket haul.
However, Peter Siddle and Mitchell Starc edged their side over the line to a three-wicket win in the first day-night Test match.
