Scotland boxer Aqeel Ahmed vows to return stronger after bowing out of the Commonwealth Games at the quarter-final stage.

Scotland boxer Aqeel Ahmed has revealed that he 'learned a lot' from his experience at this summer's Commonwealth Games.

Ahmed was eliminated at the quarter-final stage of the competition on Wednesday evening after losing to Devendro Laishram of India.

"Yeah I definitely did [learn a lot]. Fighting in front of my own crowd was brilliant. It was a great experience," he told Sports Mole.

Ahmed lost on points in the last-eight clash.
