Andre Ward blasts Carl Froch and Mikkel Kessler as disrespectful and says he would knock either of them out.

Super-middleweight world champion Andre Ward has insisted that he will knock Carl Froch out, should the two boxers meet in a rematch this year.

Ward beat Froch in 2011 to add the WBC title to the WBA one he already held, but after wins against Lucien Bute and Yusaf Mack, Froch wants to have a rematch.

The Nottingham fighter must first beat Mikkel Kessler, but Ward has branded both men "disrespectful" and says that a bout with either would not go the distance.

"I would definitely consider it," Ward told ES News. "I wouldn't be talking about those guys if they didn't keep bringing my name up.

"For some reason they keep bringing my name up in a disrespectful manner, and because they can't accept defeat, I've lost all respect for them.

"Neither one of those guys wants to fight, they're just using my name to keep their name out there. If I fight either one of these guys, I don't care what country it's in, it will not go the distance."

Ward's career record currently stands at 26 wins from 26 fights, with 14 knockout victories.
