Hector Saldivia vows to pressure Kell Brook in world title eliminator

Hector Saldivia insists that he is capable of shocking Kell Brook when the pair square off in a world title eliminator this weekend.

Argentine contender Hector Saldivia has vowed to put Kell Brook under intense pressure and keep the hometown crowd quiet when the pair meet this weekend.

Saldivia travels to England as the underdog as he prepares to take on the unbeaten Brook in a final world title eliminator at the Motorpoint Arena Sheffield on Saturday.

Brook has yet to taste defeat but Saldivia insisted at Tuesday's pre-fight press conference that he is confident of springing a surprise and is looking forward to showcasing his skills.

Saldivia said: "I'm looking forward to going to England and fighting in front of a packed out arena.

"This is a sport, let's hope nobody comes out hurt but I´m training so that I'll be able show the best of me.

"He's going to feel the pressure of the crowd because he's fighting at home in front of his people, but I'm going there with a cool head."

Possessing an impressive record of 41 wins from 43 professional bouts, Saldivia is an underdog against Brook in a fight that will determine the number one contender for the IBF welterweight title.
