A deal has been struck that will see super bantamweight rivals Nonito Donaire and Guillermo Rigondeaux step inside the ring together in New York on April 13.
The pair have long been number one and number two in the division, with the Filipino holding the WBO title and the Cuban the WBA strap.
Talks were believed to be on hiatus last night when Rigondeaux expressed concern regarding Donaire's want for additional testing by the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA).
However, the key details have now been ironed out and one of the biggest fights in boxing has been matched.
Rigondeaux, 32, is a two-time Olympic gold medallist and unbeaten in 11 professional contests.
Donaire, the younger man at 30, has lost just once in 32 fights, and was many writers' fighter of the year for 2012.
