Anthony Joshua booked for second fight

Anthony Joshua will fight 37-year-old Paul Butlin in his second professional fights at the Motorpoint Arena in two weeks' time.

Anthony Joshua has been booked to appear in his second professional fight on the undercard to Kell Brook's fight with Vyacheslav Senchenko in two weeks' time.

The 23-year-old Olympic gold medallist began his career with the spectacular knockout of Italy's Emanuele Leo last Saturday and does not have to wait long to get back in the ring.

He will be up against 37-year-old Paul Butlin of Melton Mowbray, who brings a 14-19 record from 33 fights, which includes two defeats to Dereck Chisora, at the Motorpoint Arena.

"I was happy with my performance at The O2 but I put that behind me now and move on to Sheffield," Joshua told Sky Sports News.

"I've got great memories of my time with Team GB in Sheffield. The English Institute of Sport was a second home over the last few years and it's nice that my second fight will be there.

"To have another fight just three weeks after my debut is brilliant, exactly what I need for my progression - I have to keep grinding it out, keep fighting and keep learning."

Joshua is also pencilled in for the undercard to the IBF super middleweight title clash between Carl Froch and George Groves on November 23.
