Tyson Fury hoping to find late replacement after Dereck Chisora withdrawal

British heavyweight Tyson Fury reveals that he is hoping to face a new opponent on Saturday night after Dereck Chisora withdrew after fracturing his hand.

Tyson Fury has indicated on Twitter that he still wants to compete at the Phones4U Arena on Saturday evening despite the withdrawal of Dereck Chisora.

The two British heavyweights were scheduled to face each other in a final eliminator for Wladimir Klitschko's WBO title before Chisora was advised to pull out of the bout after fracturing his hand in his final sparring session.

The show's promoter Frank Warren has announced that middleweight Billy Joe Saunders will now top the bill in Manchester, but Fury has revealed that he will continue his preparations to face a new opponent at the weekend.

Soon after Chisora's withdrawal, American heavyweights Tony Thompson and Antonio Tarver put themselves in the running to face Fury, while former world champion Shannon Briggs is known to be keen to fight the 25-year-old.
