Peter Fury, the trainer and uncle of British heavyweight Tyson Fury, reveals that a fight between his fighter and David Haye could take place at the end of September in Manchester.

Trainer and uncle Peter Fury has revealed that a fight between his fighter Tyson Fury and David Haye could be agreed for September 28.

Speculation has persisted that a bout between the two British heavyweights will take place later in 2013, and Fury has admitted that a deal is close to being struck between the two parties for a fight to happen at the MEN Arena.

Fury told World Boxing News: "The fight between Tyson and David Haye is very close to agreement.

"We are looking at Manchester Arena on September 28 as the first choice thus far, and should have something more on that soon.

"The date is one of three being considered, although nothing is set in stone regarding the deal and things can change quickly, as everyone knows."

Fury would go into any potential bout unbeaten in 21 professional fights, while Haye was won 26 out of 28 encounters.
