Tyson Fury cleared to fight Dereck Chisora

Tyson Fury escapes a ban by the British Board of Boxing Control, which clears the path for a showdown with Dereck Chisora in November.

Tyson Fury has escaped a ban by the British Board of Boxing Control for a foul-mouthed rant a press conference, enabling him to square off with Dereck Chisora later this year.

The heavyweight was fined £15,000 for his outburst in July, but the unbeaten fighter is free for his all-British showdown with 'Del Boy' on November 22.

The pair were pencilled in to clash back in July, but the fight, which will take place at London's ExCel Arena, was postponed after Fury fractured his hand.

A press conference will take place on Monday to announce further details of Fury's meeting with Chisora.

The fight will be a WBO title eliminator, although the European and British titles are also on the line in London.
