Munkh-Erdene Uranchimeg dominates Zdenek Chiladek

Mongolia's Munkh-Erdene Uranchimeg outclasses the Czech Republic's Zdenek Chiladek in the Olympic light-welterweight tournament.

Mongolia's Munkh-Erdene Uranchimeg has dominated Zdenek Chiladek of the Czech Republic to book his place in the last 16 of the Olympic light welterweight tournament.

Uranchimeg boxed well at range and proved to be an elusive target for the Czech, who found himself trailing by three points without really affecting the contest.

All he could do was grab the Mongolian in a headlock and toss him to the floor.

Uranchimeg continued to dominate proceedings in the second round and stepped up his work-rate, looking right at home inside the ring.

Chiladek could not figure his opponent out and was being made to miss with increasing regularity.

The Mongolian kept the Czech at the end of the jab and used his superior footwork to step in with the right, rocking Chiladek's head back.

As the combatants entered the final three minutes, Uranchimeg held a comfortable lead, which he converted into a 20-12 victory with ease.
