San Antonio Spurs sign Malcolm Thomas

The San Antonio Spurs agree a contract with Los Angeles D-Fenders forward Malcolm Thomas.

The San Antonio Spurs have announced that they have signed Malcolm Thomas.

The forward most recently played in the NBA's development league, leading the league with an average of 33.5 points per game for the Los Angeles D-Fenders.

The 25-year-old has previously featured in three games for the Spurs, as well as having brief stints with the Chicago Bulls and Golden State Warriors last season.

The Spurs play the Minnesota Timberwolves this evening.
