Tony Parker elated with redemption

San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker admits that he was elated to secure redemption for his side's loss in the 2013 NBA Finals by winning the team's fifth title.

San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker has revealed that he was delighted to secure redemption for his side's defeat in the NBA Finals in 2013 by winning the Championship this year.

The Spurs secured their fifth title as they beat their conquerors of 2013 the Miami Heat 4-1 in the series following their 104-87 victory in game five at the AT&T Center.

"We wanted to redeem ourselves. I'm just glad we were able to do that," Parker told ESPN.

Parker won the fourth title of his 13-year career with the Spurs.
