Danny Green has said that playing at home throughout the playoffs will be a "big plus" for the San Antonio Spurs.
Last night's 112-104 win over the Phoenix Suns ensured that the team will finish the season with the best record in the league, giving them home-court advantage throughout the playoffs.
The shooting guard, who scored a career-high 33 during the win, told reporters: "It's a big plus. It's not something we were focused on, but we know it will help us. We'll be at home for most of the playoffs.
"The biggest thing for us is to stay healthy and to build chemistry. Winning games in the process helps and we get home-court advantage. That's just the extra bonus for us."
The Spurs still have regular-season games against the Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Lakers before the playoffs.
