Gerald Green's 28 points off the bench inspired Phoenix Suns to a 121-113 away victory against the Toronto Raptors at the Air Canada Centre on Sunday night.

Green was backed up by Goran Dragic, who notched 19 points, while substitute Markieff Morris also totalled 16 points and 14 rebounds after coming off the sidelines.

In Portland, the Golden State Warriors beat the Portland Trail Blazers 113-112, thanks to an inspired 30 minutes of basketball from Stephen Curry.

Curry failed to score in the first 20 minutes of the game, but then turned up with 37 points in just 27 minutes to push the Warriors towards victory, as Klay Thompson grabbed a winning 3-pointer with 11.1 seconds remaining.

Manu Ginobili was the standout performer at the AT&T Center as he came off the bench to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a 122-104 rout over the Utah Jazz.

Ginobili scored 21 points in 24 minutes, producing 8-for-11 from the floor, with the Spurs shooting a season-best 62.8% from the field during the victory.

Rising star Gorgui Dieng tallied his first career double-double for the Minnesota Timberwolves, as they defeated the Sacramento Kings 104-102 at the Target Center.

The hosts also had Kevin Love to thank, who notched 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, while Kevin Martin scored 31 and made a number of crucial free throws to seal the game for the Wolves.

The New Orleans Pelicans recorded a 121-120 overtime win against the Boston Celtics, with Anthony Davis posting a franchise record of six straight games of at least 28 points, breaking a total originally set by Glen Rice in the 1990s.

Over in Florida, Ray Allen produced a strong fourth quarter to lead the Miami Heat to a 113-104 win over the Houston Rockets, with the experienced guard scoring 14 of his game-high 25 points in the final stage of the encounter.

Shawn Marion was one of five players who notched double-figure scores to help the Dallas Mavericks end an 11-game losing streak to the Oklahoma City Thunder with a 109-86 mauling at the Chesapeake Energy Arena.

Sunday's game in Wisconsin saw the Charlotte Bobcats record their fourth straight win with a 101-92 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.

The Cats had two players in particularly good form, with both Kemba Walker and Al Jefferson scoring at least 20 points each on the night.

Finally, in LA, Blake Griffin almost put together a triple-double, as he scored 21 points, 11 rebounds and eighth assists to help the Los Angeles Clippers defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers with a 102-80 victory at the Staples Center.
