Josh Huestis signs four-year Oklahoma City Thunder deal

The Oklahoma City Thunder announce that rookie Josh Huestis has signed a four-year deal with the club after playing last season for their D-League affiliate.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have confirmed that they have signed rookie Josh Huestis to a four-year deal.

The Thunder selected Huestis in the first round of the 2014 NBA Draft, but the 23-year-old opted not to take his guaranteed rookie-scale deal and played for the club's D-League affiliate.

However, Huestis has now penned a deal until the end of the 2019-20 season, and will now make $950,200 (£608,244) in the next campaign.

"We are excited to add Josh to our roster as he allows us to continue to increase our depth through his athleticism and versatility," Thunder general manager Sam Presti told reporters.

"Josh knows our culture and our organisation as a result of his time with the Blue, and we look forward to his continued development with the Thunder."

Huestis was selected with the 29th selection in the Draft.
