DeMarcus Cousins is listed as day-to-day as the USA national basketball team continues its preparation ahead of the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup.

DeMarcus Cousins has been listed as day-to-day by the USA national basketball team following an injury to his knee.

The player left Thursday's team practice with ice applied to his right knee, but an MRI scan has revealed that he has suffered no serious damage.

Cousins will now miss the USA's exhibition game against Brazil at the United Center on Saturday night.

However, the player is not expected to miss too many games as his country prepares for the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup.
