Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Ricky Rubio admits that the team "ran out of energy" during their defeat to the Orlando Magic.
Ricky Rubio has said that the Minnesota Timberwolves "ran out of energy" during their defeat to the Orlando Magic.
The visitors, who were without three of their regular starters, were ahead at the start of the fourth quarter, but Arron Afflalo led the Orlando comeback to end their three-game losing streak.
The point guard, who was Minnesota's top scorer during the game, told reporters: "When you play with guys like Kevin Love or Kevin Martin, you know where they like to play.
"When you're playing with new guys, you have to figure it out. We just ran out of energy. We have to fight through it."
The Timberwolves are back in action on Tuesday against the San Antonio Spurs.
