The Los Angeles Lakers made it back-to-back wins away from home with a good second-half performance against the Toronto Raptors.

Nick Young returned from a one-game suspension to lead the team with 29 points, including 15 inside the final quarter.

The Milwaukee Bucks ensured that their nine-game losing streak continued, as they were thrashed by the San Antonio Spurs.

The home side always looked in control, opening up a 13-point lead by the end of the first quarter, with Patty Mills scoring 20 to lead the team.

The Orlando Magic ended their 10-game losing run with a narrow win over the Boston Celtics, which was also their first win of 2014.

Arron Afflalo kept the points coming for the hosts, finishing the game with 20, while Tobias Harris had a couple of late free throws to seal the victory.

Channing Frye put in his best performance of the campaign to make sure that the Phoenix Suns beat the Denver Nuggets.

The power forward scored a season-high 30 points to put the Suns ahead early on, before a late push by the team's reserves sealed the win.
