Kobe Bryant insists that his performance for the Los Angeles Lakers will improve in the coming weeks.

Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Kobe Bryant has said that he is confident he will improve as the season progresses.

The 35-year-old featured in his first game in almost eight months on Sunday when he played in his side's 106-94 loss to the Toronto Raptors in the NBA.

"My rhythm is completely out of sync in terms of being able to read passing lanes and judge the timing of players in between those lanes and so forth," ESPN quotes him as saying. "But I guess it's a start. I guess a start is good."

The Lakers are currently fourth in the Pacific Division with a record of 10-10.
