Frank Vogel admits that the Indiana Pacers were "outplayed" by the Miami Heat after being defeated in game four of the Eastern Conference finals.

Frank Vogel has admitted that his Indiana Pacers side were "outplayed" by the Miami Heat in the defeat to the defending champions on Monday night.

The 102-90 loss saw the Pacers fall 3-1 behind in the Eastern Conference finals, but Vogel refused to question the effort of the players after the game.

"We got outplayed by the Heat," the Indiana coach told reporters. "I wasn't disappointed in our fight. I was disappointed in the result.

"They're the best offensive team in the NBA."

Miami can complete a series win in Indiana on Wednesday.
