The Golden State Warriors have announced the signing of free agent Leonardo Barbosa.

The shooting guard has been without a club having left the Phoenix Suns, and recently insisted that he would use his position of representing Brazil at the World Cup of Basketball to impress any watching franchises.

Having already spent 11 years in the NBA, Barbosa has managed to collect an average of 11.9 points, 2.3 assists and 2.2 rebounds while featuring for sides such as the Toronto Raptors and the Indiana Pacers.

Under the Suns last season the guard averaged a game-time of 18.4 minutes across his fixtures.
