Stav Van Gundy warns Detroit Pistons players ahead of new campaign

None of the Detroit Pistons players is guaranteed to play next season, warns head coach Stan Van Gundy.

Detroit Pistons head coach Stan Van Gundy has admitted that all his players are on trial in pre-season as they bid to show him they are worthy of regular first-team action.

The Pistons finished 12th in the Eastern Conference last season with a 32-50 losing record, which included 23 defeats at home.

Van Gundy told the Detroit Press: "Here's the thing I've even said to our own players. When you go 32-50, nobody's got a spot locked in. I'm looking for whoever gives us the best chance to win."

The Pistons will learn their 2015-16 schedule later today.
