Dallas Mavericks announce Justin Anderson contract

Justin Anderson commits his future to the Dallas Mavericks by signing his rookie contract after being selected in the first round of the 2016 NBA Draft.

The Dallas Mavericks have announced that they have agreed terms with guard Justin Anderson.

The 21-year-old was selected in the first round of the 2015 Draft with the 21st pick by the Mavericks after a three-year career in the college game with the Virginia Cavaliers.

Anderson impressed in his displays for Dallas in the NBA Summer League and the club have now confirmed that he has committed his future to the team by signing his rookie contract.

The guard averaged 17.5 points per game in his six matches in the Summer League.
