Rajon Rondo doesn't get playoff share

Rajon Rondo fails to receive a share of the playoff bonus that the Dallas Mavericks players are given.

Dallas Mavericks point guard Rajon Rondo will not receive a share of the playoff money distributed to the players this season.

The Mavs players each get a pay-out for reaching the first round of the post-season, but Rondo will not receive any after leaving the team following the first two games.

Dallas announced that the 29-year-old had suffered a back injury, but speculation suggested that the two parties had reached a mutual agreement to part ways.

The other 14 players on the roster evenly divided the bonus, after Dallas were defeated by the Houston Rockets in five games.

Players determine how the playoff shares are divided, and although they did not vote to exclude Rondo, they did not object to the list that failed to include him.
