Report: Charlotte Hornets sign Marvin Williams on two-year deal

Small forward Marvin Williams reportedly agrees a two-year deal with the Charlotte Hornets after his contract with the Utah Jazz expired at the end of last season.

The Charlotte Hornets have signed former Utah Jazz forward Marvin Williams, according to a report.

The 28-year-old was available on the free-agent market after his contract with the Jazz expired at the end of the 2013-14 season.

Williams has penned a two-year deal with the Hornets worth $14m (£8.1m) which is a fully guaranteed contract, reports the AP.

The small forward averaged 8.1 points a game for the Jazz last season.
