The Brooklyn Nets have announced the signing of free agent forward Willie Reed.

Reed was most recently brought into the franchise of the Sacramento Kings for the remainder of the 2013-14 season on March 28, before his contract came to an end during the summer after stints in the development league.

The player, who can also feature as a center, averaged 14.7 points, 9.9 rebounds and 1.7 blocks across 49 games in the NBA Development League last season.

Despite signing with Sacramento in the past, Reed is yet to appear in a regular-season NBA game.
