Sports Mole rounds up all the action from a dramatic Monday night in the NBA.

A jump shot from Tim Duncan with 0.4 seconds left on the clock earned the San Antonio Spurs a 102-100 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night.

Duncan ended the dramatic clash with 23 points and 21 rebounds as the lead changed 20 times before San Antonio claimed the win.

The New Orleans Pelicans needed three periods of overtime to beat the Chicago Bulls 131-128 at the United Center.

Jrue Holiday, who played nearly 50 minutes for his 19 points and 12 assists, made a three-point play with under three seconds remaining to hand the Bulls their first home loss this season.

The Indiana Pacers were condemned to just their second defeat of the season by the Portland Trail Blazers, who were inspired to a 106-102 triumph by LaMarcus Aldridge's 28 points.

Damian Lillard contributed 26 points of his own as Portland continued their impressive form to hold off Paul George, who recorded a career-high 43 points, and end Indiana's latest winning streak at seven games.

John Wall scored 16 points and provided 13 assists to guide the Washington Wizards to 98-80 victory over the Orlando Magic.

The Magic failed to win a quarter as Trevor Ariza also impressed with 24 points for the Wizards, who have won seven of their last nine games.

James Harden's 37 points was not enough to prevent the Houston Rockets from falling to a 109-103 defeat to the Utah Jazz at the EnergySolutions Arena.

Utah's Gordon Hayward finished the game with 29 points but it was the five points from Marvin Williams in the final two minutes which secured the victory.
