NBA roundup: Indiana Pacers, Oklahoma City Thunder earn wins

Sports Mole rounds up all of the action from Monday's games in the NBA.

The Indiana Pacers have recorded their 50th victory of the season by beating the Philadelphia 76ers 99-90 on Monday night.

Lance Stephenson scored 25 points to help the Pacers past Philadelphia, who broke a franchise record by losing their 21st game in a row.

Kevin Durant continued his bid to be named MVP by recording 35 points and 12 rebounds in the Oklahoma City Thunder's 97-85 win over the Chicago Bulls.

Russell Westbrook returned from a rest to add 17 points as the Thunder eased to another win on the road.

The Los Angeles Clippers saw their 11-game winning streak end at the hands of the Denver Nuggets, who claimed a 110-100 win at the Pepsi Center.

JJ Hickson recorded 21 points off the bench as the Nuggets prevented the Clippers from scoring in the final three-and-a-half minutes to secure the victory.

The Brooklyn Nets cruised to a 108-95 success over the Phoenix Suns thanks largely to an impressive display from Deron Williams at the Barclays Center.

Williams made 11 of his 13 shots to score 28 points and help the Nets to their 10th successive win in front of their home supporters.

The Atlanta Hawks produced a strong display in the second half to beat the Charlotte Bobcats 97-83 at the Time Warner Cable Arena.

Despite trailing by six at half time, the Hawks were dominant in the final two quarters as Paul Millsap scored 28 points to help his side to victory.

The Houston Rockets ended a three-game losing streak in style by beating the Utah Jazz 124-86 at the Toyota Center.

Dwight Howard missed his first game of the season with an ankle strain but the Rockets were still too strong for the Jazz, with Terrence Jones posting 30 points to top the scoring charts.

The Dallas Mavericks started a stretch of eight games at home by handing the Boston Celtics a 94-89 defeat.

Boston, who were behind for most of the contest, managed to reduce the deficit to one in the final minute but the Mavericks held on for their 41st win of the campaign.
