Double Olympic sprint champion Usain Bolt reveals he is going to go for the "three-peat" and attempt to defend his sprint titles at the 2016 Olympics.

Double Olympic sprint champion Usain Bolt has vowed to try to defend his 100m and 200m gold medals at the next Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

It was believed that Bolt had thought about switching to the long jump in 2016, but he has revealed that he is focused on trying to achieve double Olympic glory for the third time.

Bolt said: "Rio is about going and defending my sprint titles.

"I don't want to try any other events. I want to go to Rio and show there is a possibility that I can do it again and do the 'three-peat'."

Bolt also won gold in the 100m relay at the London Olympic Games in August.
