Great Britain's Mickey Bushell qualifies as a fastest loser for the men's T53 200m final after finishing third in his heat.

Great Britain's Mickey Bushell has a chance of becoming a Paralympic double-gold medallist after qualifying as a fastest loser for T53 200m final.

Bushell, who secured gold in the men's T53 100m final, blasted into the lead at the sound of the starter pistol and initially looked likely to qualify in an automatic position.

Despite a strong start, the British hopeful found himself drifting back into the rest of the pack after the bend, which allowed Kuwait's Hamad Aladwani to edge closer to the Brit on the home straight.

Zhao Yufei of China also performed a late surge to grab the lead and the top qualifying spot with a time of 26.46s.
