Bolt became something of a legend in London 2012, becoming the first man to defend Olympic 100m, 200m and 4x100m titles.
The 26-year-old said: "I am looking forward to Rio, it would great to defend all my titles again."
The Jamaican does not know what his schedule will be next year, when he is likely to try a new event. Bolt also added that he is looking forward to relaxing after a long season.
He continued: "I will sit down and discuss strategy with coach [Glen] Mills. I will be saying long jump, he'll probably be saying 400m.
"I just want to go home now. I'm counting the days."
Bolt's last meet of the season is tomorrow at the Diamond League meeting in Zurich, where he will be running in the 200m.
