Delays on the roads are likely in London this afternoon and especially in the early evening as ticket-holders travel to the various track and field finals tonight.
Expect fewer delays than were caused by yesterday's marathon, but there are queues on the A12 because of earlier Olympic traffic management and roads around the stadium are about to become busy for the end of the morning athletics session.
Numerous roads in central London and especially around the Olympic Stadium have long delays owing to the Games family traffic lanes in operation.
Getting into London is also severely delayed from the Essex direction with the M25 slow through junctions 30 and 31, so ticket-holders are advised to leave as much time as possible to reach the venue.
Currently the London Underground is running a good service on most lines with no major incidents, however this could change ahead of the evening's action.
