Greg Rutherford reveals skeleton ambitions

Commonwealth long jump champion Greg Rutherford reveals that he is going to try the skeleton in a bid to win a Winter Olympics medal.

Olympic and Commonwealth long jump champion Greg Rutherford has revealed that he wants to win a medal in skeleton at the Winter Olympics.

The England athlete won gold at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow yesterday evening, adding to his gold from London and silver in Delhi.

The British record holder told BBC Radio 5 live: "Ultimately I'll be a long jumper first and foremost but I am going to give skeleton a go at some point.

"Then if I'm good enough I'll do a little bit of training alongside my long jumping and if I can I'd love to go to the winter Olympics and win a medal there too."

Five athletes have won medals at both the Summer and Winter Olympics.
