Tennessee Titans GM Ruston Webster: 'We're adapting our offense for Marcus Mariota'

Tennessee Titans general manager Ruston Webster reveals that the club are moulding their offense to the skill set of quarterback Marcus Mariota.

Tennessee Titans general manager Ruston Webster has disclosed that the club have been adapting their offense to the skills of quarterback Marcus Mariota for a period of time.

The Titans were reportedly fielding offers for the second overall pick in the 2015 Draft, but the AFC South side opted to remain in their slot to select the quarterback out of the Oregon Ducks.

Webster has revealed that the club are moulding their offense to match the skill set of the 22-year-old to help him have immediate success in the 2015 season.

"Our coaches have been working on a plan for quite some time now for Marcus," Webster told NFL Network. "Really to adapting our offense to his skill set - he has a special skill set.

"There's really not much he can't do from physical standpoint and he's very bright. That combination is going to allow him to do his own adapting to the NFL game but our coaches have worked very hard on coming up with a system within our system for Marcus. I think it will work well."

Mariota threw for 4,454 yards along with 42 touchdowns to four interceptions for the Ducks in the 2014 season.
