Russell Wilson only concerned with winning

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson admits that he is not concerned about his statistics as long as his side come out victorious.

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has admitted that the only statistic he is bothered about is the wins column after struggling to pass the ball in his recent outings.

Wilson has failed to pass for over 200 yards in his last three matches, but has still guided his side to the NFC championship game.

He told reporters: "At the end of the day I'm not a stats person. Obviously I want to lead the league in stats and all of that kind of stuff because that usually shows that your team is winning games.

"But at the same time we're built to run the football, we're built to play-action the ball and give different looks and then throw the football over the field and do a lot of different things.

"So I'm not really worried about that. We're 14-3 and in the NFC Championship against the 49ers. It doesn't get any better. So at the end of the day I just want to find a way to win every single time I step out on the field."

The 25-year-old threw for 26 touchdowns to nine interceptions in the regular season at a passer rating of 101.2.
