Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Golden Tate has blasted two of his teammates for reportedly being suspended by the NFL.

Walter Thurmond III and Brandon Browner have allegedly been handed suspensions of four games and one year respectively for abusing the league's policy on performance-enhancing drugs and substance abuse.

"Everyone should realise where this team is," Tate told radio station KIRO-AM. "You are affecting way more than yourself.

"I feel like that was kind of a selfish move on both those guys' part. But it is what it is. The show must go on, and that's what we're gonna do."

The Seahawks are 10-1 in their season and play the New Orleans in week 13.
