San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh has insisted that his side can assemble their roster how they like and include five outside linebackers this season.

Harbaugh was questioned by reporters regarding whether he would keep second-year man Cam Johnson, who has impressed in pre-season, on his squad despite having several quality options on the outside already.

"Five total? Yeah, you could," Harbaugh told CSN Bay Area.

"After tonight and the way Cam Johnson played, can you? Heck, yeah, you can. We're the San Francisco 49ers. We can do whatever we want."
