Rookie Te'o practises for first time since sustaining foot injury

San Diego Chargers rookie Manti Te'o says that he is "ready to go" this weekend against the Dallas Cowboys, having missed the start of the season through injury.

San Diego Chargers rookie linebacker Manti Te'o is poised to start his first NFL game this weekend.

Te'o hurt his foot during pre-season, but practised fully for the first time since on Wednesday.

The second-round Draft pick told San Diego based radio station XEPRS-AM: "I'm ready to go on Sunday."

The Chargers take on the Dallas Cowboys in week four.
