Kevin Colbert: 'Ben Roethlisberger will end his career here'

Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert insists that Ben Roethlisberger will end his career at the club despite reports of unrest from the 32-year-old last season.

Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert is adamant that quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will finish his career at the club.

Reports had suggested that the 32-year-old was unhappy with his contract and the state of the franchise as they lost their first four games of the season.

However, following a late-season recovery to an 8-8 record and promises to talk about a new deal at the end of the 2014 campaign, Colbert is confident that Roethlisberger will remain with the team for the long term.

"I don't see any circumstances where Ben does not finish his career here," Colbert told reporters.

Roethlisberger threw for 4,261 yards and 28 touchdowns to 14 interceptions in the 2013 season.
