LeGarrette Blount leaves field early in Pittsburgh Steelers win

Pittsburgh Steelers star LeGarrette Blount leaves the field early on Monday night as he is reportedly unhappy with his role on the team.

Pittsburgh Steelers star LeGarrette Blount could face an uncertain future with the franchise after it was reported that he left the field before the end of the win over the Tennessee Titans on Monday night.

Blount signed a two-year contract with the Steelers in March, but he played only a couple of snaps against the Titans and he is understood to be unhappy with his role with the team, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

The 27-year-old did not receive a carry in a game for the first time this season on Monday as the Steelers opted to lean on Le'Veon Bell, who rushed for a career-high 204 yards and a touchdown on 33 carries.

Blount is second on the Steelers roster with 266 rushing yards but he has not played a pivotal role for Pittsburgh due to the emergence of Bell this season.

Rookie Dri Archer is the only other running back on the roster, but he has rushed for just 41 yards on eight carries so far this season.
