Pittsburgh Steelers do not request that Willie Colon's salary is cut, according to his agent.

Pittsburgh Steelers left guard Willie Colon will stay with the franchise next season, according to his agent.

Colon was reportedly looking to offload the veteran to save salary, but Joe Linta has said that the Steelers have made no contact about the player's contract situation.

Colon's salary will be £3.6m next season and there has so far been no request for a reduction.

The 2012 season was Colon's sixth as a pro, in which he made 11 starts.
