Philadelphia Eagles' Jason Peters admits injury struggles

Philadelphia Eagles left tackle Jason Peters admits that he was struggling with an finger injury in his side's defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Philadelphia Eagles left tackle Jason Peters has admitted that he was struggling with a finger injury in his side's defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs.

The 28-year-old struggled to protect his side's quarterback Michael Vick against pass rusher Tamba Hali as he was nursing a dislocated finger.

"I had to adjust a little bit because I had to tape up three of my fingers and I couldn't grab," Peters told PhillyMag.com.

"I had to adjust to Tamba in the second half with my hand placement and stuff because I couldn't really grab him with my outside hand.

"I just had to adjust as far as settling down and start using it a little bit better than I did in the first two quarters."

Philadelphia are 1-2 in their season after week three.
