Kansas City Chiefs cruise past Oakland Raiders

The Kansas City Chiefs end a three-match losing streak courtesy of a comfortable 31-13 victory over the Oakland Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium.

The Kansas City Chiefs scored three touchdowns in the third quarter to help them to a comfortable 31-13 victory over the Oakland Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium this evening.

The only points of the first quarter went the way of the hosts with under three minutes remaining as De'Anthony Thomas collected a punt and returned the ball 81 yards for a touchdown.

It continued to be a tight affair in the second quarter as the sides were limited to a field goal apiece, Cairo Santos converting for the Chiefs before Sebastian Janikowski got the Raiders on the board as time expired.

Janikowski added a second in the third quarter, but then the Chiefs took control of the game with three touchdowns before the end of the period.

Knile Davis got the first with a three-yard rush before Travis Kelce collected an Alex Smith pass and held off three challenges to make it into the endzone for a 20-yard score.

Davis then got his second of the match, collecting a Smith pass down the middle before racing through unchallenged for a 70-yard touchdown.

The Raiders did pull a score back in the dying stages of the match when James Jones caught Derek Carr's one-yard pass, but it was too little too late as the Chiefs picked up their first win for almost a month.
