The NFL announces that the Pro Bowl teams will be selected by draft rather than ballot in the future.

The NFL has announced changes to the Pro Bowl format for the 2013 season.

In previous years, fans, coaches and players have voted for the best players in each conference to play each other in an AFC versus NFC game the week before the Super Bowl.

However, the teams will now be drafted by Hall of Fame members Jerry Rice and Deion Sanders, as well as two winners from NFL.com's fantasy football league.

Earlier this year, the NFC beat the AFC 62-35.
