The New York Giants have no plans to trade away wide receiver Hakeem Nicks, according to a report.

There were suggestions that the winless Giants would trade the former first-round pick, who is in the final year of his rookie deal, to avoid losing him for nothing in free agency.

However, Tom Coughlin's side have reportedly rubbished claims that they are looking to trade the 25-year-old, according to NFL Network.

Nicks earlier admitted that he was unaware of the reports and stated his desire to remain at the club.
