Cullen Jenkins to join New York Giants

Former Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins has signed a contract with the New York Giants.

Cullen Jenkins has agreed a three-year contract worth $8m (£5.4m) with the New York Giants.

The defensive tackle, who was cut by the Philadelphia Eagles last month, agreed the deal after meeting with the NFC East side last week.

The 32-year-old also held meetings with the Oakland Raiders, San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks.

Jenkins made 26 tackles, four sacks and one forced fumble during the 2012 seasons.
