Former New England Patriots defensive back Rodney Harrison feels that it is about time the club end their nine-season drought without a Super Bowl win.
Bill Belichick's side last won the Vince Lombardi trophy in the 2004 season, but lost in the title game in the 2007 and 2011 campaigns to the New York Giants.
However, Harrison is adamant that the current team has to step up to the mark this season and get over the line after so many recent failures in big matches.
He told reporters: "You have an opportunity to play for the greatest organisation on the planet. How can you not come out here and get it done?
"It's not good enough to win a playoff game. It's not good enough to make it to the AFC championship game. It's time to win a Super Bowl and everybody has to be held accountable."
The Patriots have reached the AFC championship game for the past three seasons, but have only advanced to the Super Bowl once.
