Former Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Austin Collie agrees to join the New England Patriots.

The New England Patriots have announced that free agent wide receiver Austin Collie has joined the team.

The former Colts player has 1,845 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns from his four previous seasons in the NFL.

Defensive tackle Vince Wilfork, who tore his Achilles earlier this week, has been placed on injured reserve, while tight end Zach Sudfeld has been released.

The Patriots play the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
