Former New England Patriots star Brandon Browner has received his Super Bowl ring, accompanied by a letter from Robert Kraft.
Browner signed with the New Orleans Saints this off-season, and did not attend the Patriots' ring ceremony last month after helping them to a title.
"I'm truly sorry you left us - you were one of my favourites in the locker room!" stated Kraft in the hand-written addition to the letter.
Kraft has insisted that Browner's influence in the locker room was key to their success during his time with the organisation.
